NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF KIESTER
APPLICATION TO
SMALL CITIES DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Kiester City Council at 7:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Fire Hall/Community Center, 106 South First St., Kiester, Minnesota.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide information on project over runs, and water improvements portion of the funding will be in a different funding package with Rural Debelopment.
The purpose of the hearing is meet USDA Rural Development, concerns with project cost over runs , the water tower improvements that will be part of a different funding package
All interested citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearing to examine the application and provide comments. For accommodations, such as accessibility or communication aids, please contact City Staff no later than Thursday, August 7th by 5:00 pm. If you are unable to attend; or would like additional information prior to the hearing; materials pertaining to the proposed use of funds are available for review at the Kiester City Hall, 116 N. Main St. in Kiester, MN during regular office hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, and Friday; or by contacting City Staff at 507-294-3161 or [email protected].
The city will then have a working meeting with no voting afterwards.
