The Kiester City council held a special meeting on Tuesday May 7, 2027, at the Kiester Community Center.
Mayor Hope Bauman called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Council Members Present: Larry Dahleen Brandon Hagenson, Jason Kluender. Kurt Grobe. City Clerk: Doris Troll; Members of the public: Marcia Dahleen, Jessica Green from Northland Securities and Jason Zinter from Bolton & Menk.
Agenda: Motion to accept agenda, by Kurt Grobe, seconded by Jason Kluender, vote 5-0 motion carried.
Northland Securities: Jessica Green explained the two proposals for short-term financing for the road project.
One proposal was for 18 month and the other proposal was for 24 months. The council had a conversation of what the difference would mean to the city.
Motion to go with the 18 month bond for this part of the project was made by Hope Bauman seconded by Kurt Grobe. Vote 5-0, motion carried.
Adjournment: Motion By Kurg Grobe seconded by Jason Kluender. Vote 5-0, motion carried.
